A. ADI’s training exceeds the Idaho ECWL training requirement.
A. In Idaho, there are 3 ways to legally carry concealed:
1. Any resident of Idaho, 21 years old or older, that may legally possess a handgun, can carry concealed without a permit.
2. Any resident of Idaho that is 21 years old or older, that can show proof of training through the military, a hunter’s education class, a handgun training course from a college or the police department or an NRA Basic Pistol instructor, can obtain a permit for the Basic Concealed Weapons License.
3. Any resident of Idaho that is 21 years old or older can obtain an ECWL by completing a course that meets the requirements set forth by the State of Idaho: 8 hours of instruction covering basic handgun and ammunition knowledge, safe handgun and ammunition handling, safe handgun and ammunition storage, principles of self-defense, 98 rounds of live fire at a range covering basic shooting and defensive shooting, and Idaho law relating to firearms and the use of deadly force taught by a lawyer or intermediate post rated police officer.
A. You will need hearing protection, eye protection, your firearm, ammunition and pen and paper for taking notes.
For basic classes you will need 50 rounds of ammunition.
Additionally, for Enhanced Concealed Weapons License classes you will need 100 rounds of ammunition and the holster you plan to use for concealed carry.
A. No. We will provide a firearm for Basic Pistol classes if the student does not have one.
The student will be responsible for purchasing ammunition. Please contact us in advance to arrange to use our firearms.
A. No. GLOCK Certified Armorers are not allowed to install or recommend aftermarket parts or the polishing or modification of factory parts.
A. Women Only Classes can be scheduled for any course offering. Please contact us to schedule your next Ladies Day at the Range!
A. Children (under 18) are welcome to join their parents for a class or can attend a class with their parent's permission. We do not hold any classes just for children.
