Ares Defense Institute (ADI) is Veteran-Owned firearms training business serving Idaho’s Treasure Valley.

Our curriculum goes far beyond mastering shooting fundamentals – we help train your brain to react effectively in the face of a threat.  Whether you are a beginner or advanced shooter, ADI will help you become and remain able to defend yourself and your loved ones responsibly.

ADI offers a offers a variety of courses with schedules to fit your needs including Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons License (ECWL), United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) classes: Countering the Mass Shooter Threat, Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals, Emergency First Aid Fundamentals, and mini-courses like Real Estate Agent Safety, Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan, and Violent Encounters and the Aftermath. We also offer NRA classes in Basic Rifle, Basic Pistol, and Personal Protection In The Home.

Additionally, we provide Private Training for Firearms Familiarization, Defensive Pistol, and Cleaning Your Firearm. Our class sizes are in small numbers to ensure safety and to give our students the personal attention they need to gain the most from their training experience.
